I'm actually making more in my BB's than I did before the patch, but I do play very aggressively. In my CV's however I am making much less even while spotting, shooting down aircraft, ect. I really think that the economy changes were very good except in one arena CV's are screwed up right now in terms of exp and income. Everywhere else I have noticed an improvement.

tbh, the economy is still not optimal for Co-op. Especially for higher Tiers, and also in carriers...

The problem with the economy is there's no way to know how you're going to do until the match is over, as far as credits and xp are concerned. They need to make it to where you can look at your ribbons at any point in the game, and have an idea of how you're going to come out at the end game. Having players work towards a goal, but giving them no feed back as to how far they are to reaching that goal is bad design. You might as well get rid of ships health bars.

Agree with the main points but for example the Dimitri Donskoi if u are agressive with it u die in seconds its all citadell very difficult to survive ....
-
Well, the Amagi is still a good dd hunter, Scharnhorst guns were either changed or in a week I have lost the ability to land shots, and my new stock Roon manages not to lose credits.
I'd say something is working right. -
I did 94k dmg in my New Mexico and made 166,000 credits, feels good man
-
When I was aggressive, my team left me and I died fast. I tried to reverse out of there but it was no use. Lost tons of credits for playing aggressive. I was in the Friedrich Der Große. I'm not asked asking to make a ton, I just want to at least break even
-
I really don't see the problem with getting into the action in the BB, nor have I had a problem in cruisers either. All the folks on the forums crying cruisers are helpless and can't do anything against all the BBs, hasn't been an issue in my Mogami or Ashigari, been wrecking face and surviving the match, helps when you don't sail broadside to everything.
-
I mean I hated the camping BB's captains. I was always aggressive because I'm a Cruiser and Battleship Captain. But I understand why they camp. Because if you have a decent game and your team wins you'll make some credits. If you have a decent game and your team looses, your loosing thousands of credits. And if you die and loose your loosing almost a 100k credits. So for a high teir BB captain sniping getting citadels will garuntee to get credits.
-
I honestly have always been a very aggressive, and supportive battleship player, yet still, if I use my Montana, and I get up in the thick of things, I just end up losing 200k instead of 320k. I just don't know how much more I could possibly do, and it still does not work for me, although I wish it did
-
Yamato is easy though, you can pen anything at any angle. Making 150k damage in Yamato requires little effort, of course you break even with it. Fletcher is very strong as well and tier 9 isn't that expensive. You still don't make credits playing aggressively at tier X. If you get like top 3 you can at least break even now, although not with premium consumables. To play tier X and not go negative you have to be buying premium time, just as planned.

I personally love the new economy changes. I play battleships primarily, and have always preferred being aggressive. I like brawling in my BBs. It's hard, however, to be aggressive when the rest of your fleet refuses to advance. Since the patch changes, where people are more willing to push together, I've been having a blast. And since I use the German battleships primarily, it's even better. I may end up sinking, but that's fine so long as I get a good brawl out of it. Since the patch, I have been. So I'm thrilled with this new direction of economics!

As a aggressive BB player myself, I fucking love this patch
-
I like the change overall but I think it could use some tweaking for the BBs. A BB sometimes can't physically get into a cap circle by the time a DD caps it and is usually most effective (IMO) if it stays on the edge of the cap and protects the dds going into the caps. I played a little last night and had good high tier games in my BBs and DDs. In all the games I did everything my ships were designed to do. I had the top score in most of these games, if not all. The result was I made small amount of credits in my BBs and tons of credits in my DDs. So the result is I might just play DDs and forget about BBs.

As a Yamato and Iowa owner, I like the changes and think it's a step in the right direction. When I first started playing the BB trees of the Japanese and US, I dreamed of the day I would get the Iowa and Yamato, and unload big cans of wup ass with them.
I got the Iowa first, and the first game with it, I tried pushing like I did with my low to mid tier BBs and found out how much it sucks to be the only battleship on your team trying to push and support the cruisers and DDs. After that I tried the camping and sniping bullshit, and found out this sucks even more, as I missed most of my shots at max range, and what few shots did hit, either bounced or over penned, causing minimal damage to my targets.
I went back to the brawling style of play with my Iowa, and even though I got sunk quite a bit, I made up my mind I was going to die fighting like a man, instead of hiding in the back like a little pussy boy. When I brawled in high tier games I got more and better hits on my targets, with at least one or two enemy ships sunk, and the occasional one shot, which was really fun.
Btw all this crying about destroyers being a good reason to camp in the back and snipe in a battleship is total horseshit. Destroyers have been getting nerfed left and right for quite a while, so torp spamming isn't as much a big deal as it was when the game was first released. I remember the massive walls of torps when I first played my Iowa, and now I don't see anymore torps in high tier games than I see in low to mid tier games.
With all the nerfs done to CVs, CAs, and DDs, and buffs to BBs the year this game has been out, BB players haven't had it so good as they have it now. If you're a high tier BB player, and are still camping in the back sniping, and using the tired old lame excuses about torps, DDs, CVs and HE spam as a reason to continue that same play style, then you are you're a 100% pure pussy and homo, who has no business playing battleships or World Of Warships period. Battleships are supposed to be challenging to play, and if you need everything made easy to have fun with this game, then go away, and play Yoshi Land with your little sister or girlfriend on their Nintendo WII.
I don't want or need any BB campers and snipers on my team, as they are useless pieces of shit, who don't contribute a damn thing to winning a match, but make the game frustrating for those of us with a real pair, who want to win or at least make an effort to do so. -
Still waiting until they change the replay bugs. In ship mode, your ship often disappears and turrets that turn when in game you locked them. I know the replay doesn't see that you did that, but I hope it ever will. Economy is finally a bit better, people just like to complain.

This is my typical game playing the Bisko, Tirp, Scharnhorst, and Gniesenau as I dislike the other BB lines...we start game I head to a cap zone and how many people go? About 5 to 1 people go with me and I have another German BB player with me he is just aggressive as me and we charge and what happens? Our cruisers abandon us and it just me and my friend suicide charging and the team thankfully bashes the cruiser captains for not helping we were top tier by the way and they just seen the enemy team and were like nope
-
Today i was on my Amagi but without the range upgrade, so the range only 18 km. i was playing on the map trap and i spawn near C. it was tier 10 match, so i got 2 Yamato and a Montana on my team. Once the game start i followed my DDs and cruisers towards C. Once i got spotted, everybody on the enemy team fired at me. Meanwhile a Yamato that spawn near C still sitting on his spawn point, snipping, he even reversing! i ping him and told him to move forward and take the heat off from me, but he's not even responding, and i died shortly after. At the battle results, he was ranked third. My point is the economy change will not change the mindset of some people who accustomed to sniped and still got good results. Sorry for my rant.

This new idea wont work, but I will try it out, oh I know what would happen, so I'm a BB player, I should be getting up close and personal and aggressive, ok I'll do that, I'll go inside a cap zone, oh look, I see a DD, oh and some cruisers, ok I get torp spammed, oh I can repair the floods, and bring back the health, oh but I have been set on fire by cruisers, ok I'm being rekt, I must retreat, I must reverse or go around and show my broadside, oh but I either be citadels by battleships, or slowly reverse cause I'm slow, and get focused more, oh even thou I went by my self and had to go by the new gameplay style, I ask for support, I spammed in it chat, no one helps me. I'm screwed, I get destroyed, this happens multiple times, THIS NEW GAMEPLAY UPDATE IS NOT GOING TO HELP, ITS GOING TO GET WORSE.
-
There are some people that are like oh your win rate is shit so you don't deserve support, even though I'm aggressively pushing with my dds. (I'm a Gneisenau btw). Like when I'm in a tier 9 match and I ask for cv support, no chance in hell.
