World's second largest economy logs 7.7% GDP growth

2013 was a crucial year in China's push to transition its economy from high-speed growth towards a development path of sustainability and innovation. Despite a shaky global economic recovery and sluggish export demand, the world's second largest economy was still able to beat expectations and log impressive growth.
