Excelent narrator's work! I'm improving listening skills in English and this voice is so neat and graceful. The background music is amazing and fills up with emotion the narration.

The Treaty of Versailles was so unfair to the Axis. I think it was just a treaty of revenge. Comment on your opinions of this.

31:30 "The United States was in fact to become the most deadly enemy of Hitler in the coming war"
But at the start of this very documentary 0:45 the narrator says "74M were to die" from whom 26M were Soviets, he didn't tell the figure for the US casualties... so how the US and not the Red Army was the deadliest enemy of Nazi Germany. -
I can't tell you how excited I was to hear the documentary starting to dig into the factors that lead to the war first and adding things like that they can't say for sure what Hitler's larger plans were, whether the fire was a Nazi plot, etc.

I'm about 13 minutes in and so far I very much like what I see. It is quite unbiased or at least struggles to be. I was actually looking specifically for a documentary about Japan in WW II that is mostly unbiased because I am so sick of seeing my own country's documentaries just bash the Japanese from start to finish out of an obviously strong bias. I mean don't misunderstand, The Japanese did some terrible things but so did all sides at some point and I'm more interested in day-to-day life of what the civilian was like for a Japanese person in those days. The closest thing I have ever seen to this is the movie Japan's Longest Day (1967) and it being so old and made by the Japanese also means it's not perfect or unbiased, but at least it isn't full of the same moral shaming and after-the-fact criticism I see in pretty much every other documentary.
For the record I have absolutely nothing but respect and admiration for soldiers of the United States (and everyone else) who died in a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, had to fight the Japanese in the Pacific and elsewhere, and lost family and friends in the ensuing battles. What I'm looking for though is a clear picture of what it was like on the other side, personal commentary and opinions of the United States withheld, or at least as much as it can be. -
A good and measured analysis with a good insight into the events leading up to WWII.

Finally A WWII Doc that doesn't feel compelled to validify a side or demonize one Evil-Doer for the benefit of the other, victimised hero side lol can't stand that S***and it only allows for erroneous historical propaganda bulls**T,. Biasedness and opinions have there place in some genra, but should be abolished, in my opinion lol, from all War and Histoy Doc's.

6 million jews? lol. how many people still believe in this shit.. it seems common today for more people to know its bullshit. other than the young still in school getting a healthy dose of propaganda, and the self hating white cuck's of the millennial generation.
I really believe we are moving into an era when people are pulling the vale from there eyes, this is a result of 60 years of everything wrong with the world being blamed on white people. imagine if i told you that your son and his son will pay a debt of guilt and self hating to make up for you and your father living in a brutal time when no one cared about others fillings and came out on top?
Oh and in 40 years whites will be a minority in every country they inhabit lol. i guess then everyone else will consider it "debt paid".... oy vey!!!!! -
If not for the USA all of Europe would be speaking German!!!!
