This is a pathetic examination as to how people will handle the energy situation. WE DO NOT NEED MORE OIL. GM got rid of its EV cars, even when there were miles long waiting lists for them at dealerships. EV cars were so good that major Hollywood stars even publicly stated that they loved their electric cars. Get real, History Channel and drop the propaganda

Oil maybe last a couple of decade more but life as we know it will be gone before we are out of oil.. thanks to the greedy oilfuckbarons..
-
Okay I really want to know why oil is in our food and lipstick.. WTF..
-
I wish we never discovered it in the firstplace

I was "Disappointed" with this program . . . there was not a SINGLE MENTION of something that would come into "Wide Use", with out oil usage . . . "Wood Gas", I have a friend, who has been running one of his "Larger" tractors on it, for over 20 yrs now. I'm frankly "Surprised", that they would make such a "Mistake".

I'd love to see this happen and kill off 6.9 billion people as I eat my fill and use hungry little kids as target practice as hot porn stars lick my stick
-
kinda funny but a world without oil is prob what we need even if the fallout and shock initially will be hard.
-
lol yo the amish won the battle. Hopefully they wont get raided by looters with guns.
-
The end of oil would have a catastrophic effect on the modern world, but would probably be a good thing in the long run :D

Fear mongering shit. Totally uninspired and uninformed. We already have other sources of energy and scientists around the world are developing fusion energy. Even aviation will survive with USAF synthetic fuel or natural gas transmuted into a synthetic liquid fuel (this took 1 min to search on google). Cars will go electric and probably people will develop some synthetic and highly expensive fuel for those special people with small penises.

Google truth contest and read "The Present" to see how we can fix our world, and fix it fast. The first page cuts right to the chase.

this must have been made before they had solar, wind and hydroelectric power...

How much oil is left? In June, BP provided an intriguing update to its global oil
reserves estimates in the company's yearly review of energy statistics.
It raised its reserve estimate by 1.1% to 1,687.9 billion barrels –
just enough oil to last the world 53.3 years at the current production rates.Oct 22, 2014 -
sad... this could have really served a purpose, to inform, but the little 'foxes in the vine' show that it indirectly promotes the same old oil-Barron rhetoric. Would we really need to grow more soybeans because we can make more bio-fuel, really? Don't worry about having food to eat, we need to make sure that we can keep the biofuel pipeline going, we can't possibly survive without it. The praising of natural gas' role in this despicable portrayal of the rescue of humanity through other sources of oil? And the dubious addition of fear and guilt... huge thumbs down!
-
This is so BS. Oil doesn't run out overnight. Production from different countries will slow down, prices will go up and people move to more affordable things. Electric cars will take up easily half of the cars on the road. Even trucks and vans will be able to run on electricity, while homes are covered in solar panel roofing. The only thing that can't survive without oil is aviation.

OMG....people, wake up! We can and we MUST live without the polluting oil industry. We can make bio fuel, grow industrial hemp to replace many of the plastic products and go back to non polluting ways of living. We have solar and wind energy and we must all start to grow our food or parts of it -the oil industry is behind suppressing alternative and earth friendly energy sources...and this video just scares people....oil hasn't been around in the past and people were fine for thousands of years....what a brain wash

Warning: This video contains copious amounts of socialist shit propaganda.

LOAD OF BULLSHIT!!!

How 'bout this - 80% of electricity is nuclear in such a big country as France. Another 12 is generated by renewable sources. Germany - 1/3rd is from wind and sun... Denmark produces almost more than 40% using, yes, windmills, and on windy days it covers more than all they need that they even sell the surplus to Sweden, Germany and the U.K.
So, don't need to think that we depend on oil so much that it can even "scare". We lived perfectly well without plastic for centuries, we just need to invest more in reusable power generation projects and oil-free projects in general. AT list something plastic-like should be possible to be created without oil.
Global warming is definitely more serious and dangerous than The World Without Oil :)
