Germany was getting too powerful for the other major European empires, and, despite not being responsible for WWI and despite offering peace which Britain rejected, got treated horribly during and after the war. Rules that ruined the German economy, which ultimately led to the rise of Adolf Hitler whose poltics improved the economical situation in Germany, and the losses of land that put ethnic Germans in a non-German state, Poland, who, despite having its independece thanks to the German Empire, did multiple attacks against ethnic Germans, led to the Third Rech invading Poland, after which Britain and France, who had no problem with the Soviet Union invading Poland, declared war on Germany which started the WWII, after which Germany offered peace again and Britain rejected it and wanted war like they did in WWI again. After WWII Germany, despite being in ruins, even more losses of people and land and the Allies having committed the biggest theft of patents in history, became one of the strongest economies in the world again, and again other countries went against that, for example with the European Union which is essentially a second Treaty of Versailles, the USA forcing Germany to take millions of for example Turks, and the migrant crisis where millions of people come from and through countries that were destabilized by USA, Britain, France and Russia. This video includes the speech Kaiser Wilhelm II. did after the start of the first world war and a translation of it. "To the German people. Since the foundation of the German Empire 43 years ago, it has always been our effort to keep peace in the world, to peacefully support our vigorous development. However, the enemies are grudging the success of our work. Until now, we had to suffer all of the overt and secret enmities, from east to west, from beyond the sea, in the knowledge of our responsibility and power. But now, they want to abase us. They want us, folding our arms, to watch how our enemies are arming for insidious assault. They don't tolerate us remaining true to our ally, who is fighting for its reputation as a great power. And with whose abasement, our power and glory would be doomed as well. That's why the sword has to rule. The enemy is assaulting us in times of peace. For this reason, let us take up arms. Every unsteadiness and every hesitation would be a treason to the fatherland. It deals with the being or not being of our empire which our fathers founded. About being or not being of German power and German character. We will defend ourselves until the last breath of our men and horses. And we are also going to survive the struggle against a world of enemies. Germany was never defeated when it was united. Along with God, who is with us like he was before with our ancestors."
