Where is part 1 and the remaining parts?

Hitler also said that actually the goods and services of a nation are its real wealth and not money. He had great economic understanding. Even though I disagree on his racist ideology, (he unfortunately confused race and culture) I recommend the economic part of his book "Mein Kampf"

Good stuff. Well done.

At this point in time, I don't understand how anyone can continue to support a system based on perpetual growth, consumption, and waste. It's insanity, irresponsible, no longer an option. The new system has to be about collaboration, access, efficiency and sustainability. We don't have a choice... if the goal is to take care of our planet and our people. And that SHOULD be the goal.

Let's make an example of TZM life. My house in Salmon Idaho can be a base for TZM. Other houses are available here, one across the street. Salmon is isolated and may be a good place to start.

The comment posted is based off an historical analysis of many years of study and besides I'm not arguing here. Peter even has a web series called Culture in Decline that I enjoy a lot. He does great work and has touched many people. I didn't intend to throw the baby out with the bath water I simply think if more of us understood human nature better than maybe the world would be a better place.

Claiming that something cant be done and then claiming you know that human nature is the problem is not a valid argument.
-
waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for the human race to either grow up or give a shit that they're being controlled.
-
Peter has a great mind but what he's trying to do is something that cant be done. You cant change human nature you can only try and guide that nature to decent ends. Inherently you still have that underlying nature that can be ugly and quite destructive that will always be their in the human being. Too believe that all humans will respond positively to decency, charity, empathy and altruism is a grave mistake. Its the human nature that's the problem. Not the means but the end itself!

More involved theoretical version of a beauty pageant answer about ending world hunger and having universal peace.

Question to everyone about the section regarding Veblen's natural rights theory. What if you are a doctor, dentist, therapist, other occupations that provide service from one individual to another. How does his natural rights theory fit in?

They should offer a kit and a program with step by step inst. for how to set up and market the public viewing of ZM films/info in your hometown. Show movies at town halls, social clubs, etc., and invite the public. Include poster designs via download and advice on where to hang the posters legally. Make it as zero cost to them as possible by funding a percentage of: hall rentals, Staples poster prints, folding chair, van & projector rentals. or whatever can be confirmed by receipt.

I Love Zeitgeist. Watched the video in 2006. They had it figured out from day one.

Some people call Zeistgeist Movement "Zeitards" or "Zeitgeistology" ... I d rather call them constructs of the mind.

This guy, like every economist I listen to is a complete idiot. Now I will try to explain some facts to him: Read down the commemnts.

People invented economics and businesses to benefit people. There is no such thing as free enterprise because freedom is a feeling that can only be felt by a living thing. A business is an entity which is allowed to compete on a level playing field. The level playing field is made of taxes and regulations.

All functioning systems that continue to operate are regulated by negative feed-back loops. This is true for natural and artificial systems alike. In capitalism, the less efficient businesses, companies or corporations are supposed to fail and this is the negative feed-back loop that is supposed to make a capitalism type economy more efficient. In the~32 OECD economies, this mechanism no longer dominates, making them not really capitalism. We can see that China is not really a Communist economy.

ironic and pretty funny how the biggest speaker for movement is an advertisement worker lol. "to catch a criminal you have to think like a criminal" to update humanity you have to think like a barbarian
